Privacy policy
Effective July 30, 2026
The short version
We collect what we need to run your event and nothing else. Your guests' recordings belong to you, are delivered privately, and are never posted, sold, or used in our marketing without written permission from you.
What we collect on this site
When you write to us or use an inquiry form, we receive what you send: your name, email address, event date, venue, and anything else you include. We use it to answer you, hold your date, and run your booking. Form submissions are processed by Loops, our email provider, when forms are enabled.
If analytics are enabled we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, rough location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
Event recordings
The recordings made on your line are the point of the service, so they get their own rules:
- Recordings are delivered privately to the people who booked the event.
- We keep an archive for twelve months so you can order keepsakes, then delete it. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
- Our editors listen only to do the editing work: levels, trims, ordering.
- We never publish, sell, or use recordings in marketing without written permission from the event hosts.
- Hosts are responsible for letting guests know messages are recorded; the greeting and our signage make it clear too.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not run ad trackers. We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question.
Your choices
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: hello@thetoastline.com. We answer within one business day and act within thirty.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Meaningful changes to how recordings are handled will be emailed to affected customers directly.
